Re-imagining what it means to be fully human.
wild Being is a philosophical and experiential inquiry into what it means to be human in the modern, post-religious world. It’s a reflective place for cultivating forms of understanding that modern life seems to have all but forgotten.
Drawing on philosophy, archetypal psychology, myth, ancient cosmology, theology and participation in nature, wild Being explores an ecology of knowing that integrates reason with imagination, intuition and embodied experience.
While the modern world privileges certainty and mastery, wild Being celebrates equally: depth, symbol, personal resonance, soulful connection and shared remembrance. It is grounded in the conviction that meaning emerges through attentive, natural participation.
The wild Being vision unfolds through a practice studio, a collection of written reflections, a scholarly podcast and guided methods for integration inspired by ancient wisdom traditions and modern life-coaching principles.
Every human carries a unique ‘soul style’… a magic the world needs. Modern life often encourages us to outsource this wisdom to teachers or experts. Three Studios (Psyche, Soma & Apothecary) offer a playground where you can discover, cultivate and express your own holistic intelligence; rekindling an inner trust or sovereignty.
Here, you’re free to experiment and reflect, opening up to new ways to perceive and participate more fully in life.

Practices to stir up mind and imagination, attuning to the hidden magnetic qualities of perception. Explore meditation, nature resonance, ritual, breathwork, neuro-somatics, active imagination and more..

Work with your body as an active, responsive source of vital insight and memory. Somatic practices, Qigong, yoga and other body-based explorations help to cultivate a fullness of presence and a strength of clarity.

Learn to make remedies, teas, tinctures and other creations that connect you to the wisdom of earth. The Apothecary helps you find ways to replace synthetics with natural options while living in natural rhythm with the seasons.
Life presents questions that reason alone cannot penetrate. The wild Being Journal explores these themes through four complementary currents, each offering a different lens on big life mysteries:

The Cauldron offers a space for integration. Here, the unconscious has room to process insights from the Studio, Journal and Podcast, allowing ideas and experiences to percolate beyond habitual thinking.
You’re supported to explore your inner life, experiment with new ways of being, trust what’s coming up and turn reflection into meaningful living.

For those who want to go much deeper and more academic, The Archetypal Philosophy Podcast explores the possibility of a new metaphysics that is grounded in enactive participation rather than detached abstraction.
Responding to the fragmentation of modern worldviews across science, philosophy and culture, the podcast understands meta not as transcendence, but as a binding principle: that which carries shared meaning across domains through paradigmatic synthesis, relation and living metaphor… a new cosmology.
Drawing on archetypal psychology, philosophy and the sciences, it treats the human embodied psyche as a participant in a living cosmos, and seeks forms of understanding capable of reconciling reason, imagination, intuition, affect and embodied experience.

I’m Tosca. I’m drawn to life’s mysteries. I approach them with intellectual rigour while remaining genuinely open to intuition, imagination and lived, embodied experience. I also love to position them within ancient perspectives.
wild Being is my contribution to addressing both the Meaning Crisis and the Earth Crisis of our time, and to restoring our capacity to hold complexity and paradox without collapsing into simplistic dichotomy, retreating into fake certainty or shattering into incoherent fragments.
Mostly I’d like to help others strengthen trust in their personal experience and discover their unique magic. I aim to be a trusty sidekick!
